Kindergarten teachers lay the framework for their students education and Janice Johnson has been doing just that for 17 years.
As Janice prepares for retirement, she was able to reflect back on her time in education and why it is so important to treasure every moment of your education career.
What is one of your favorite memories from your time in SPS?
One of my favorite memories is the yearly Thanksgiving Feasts we had with our kindergarteners.
What is something you will miss about SPS?
I will miss the amazing people I have had the privilege to work with and who have become wonderful friends.
Is there any advice you would like to share to those not retiring?
Treasure those special times you have with your students as they learn and grow. These treasures will carry you through the harder times.
