Good Food, Great Company, & The Future of Student Well-being 🥗🧠

Supporting the "whole child" has never been more important. Join us for our upcoming Lunch & Learn as we explore the current landscape of student mental health and how we are preparing the future workforce.

We are thrilled to host Dr. Alison Roffers, Director of SPS Counseling Services, and a special guest panel for a conversation on how SPS is leading the way in Missouri.

📝 What We’ll Discuss: The panel will dive into key strategies for supporting student well-being, including the vital connection between physical education and mental resilience. Come learn how active bodies help build stronger, more focused minds.

FSPS’s Lunch & Learn series is made possible by our generous donor, Peter Lai with Edward Jones. We are grateful for his continued commitment to education and our community.

WOW! Look at the love spreading across our map! ❤️🌊

Thank you to everyone who has already turned a heart RED! We are so blown away by this community. BUT… looking at this map, we still see TOO many white hearts. We need your help to paint the whole map red!

How can we get there? A generous $1,000 gift claims a school entirely, but did you know that if just 2,500 neighbors across Springfield gave $10 today ❤️, we could turn every single remaining heart red?

What does Love SPS look like in action? ❤️ Your donation isn’t just filling in a heart on a graphic; it is changing lives for SPS students. Funds raised directly support Foundation for SPS initiatives like:
• 🚌 Getting to School: 88 students received Pay to Ride waivers this school year alone.
• 🧥 Staying Warm: Nearly 500 coats were awarded through Coats for Kids.
• 🎓 Future Success: 102 scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors last year.

Let’s turn those white hearts RED and show our students and teachers they are supported! ❤️

Help 5th Graders Find Their Voice! 🎶🎤

Did you know that top 5th-grade vocalists from all Springfield elementary schools come together every March for the SPS Honor Choir? 🏫🚌This incredible event brings students to Parkview High School for a dedicated clinic, rehearsals, and a grand evening concert. 🌟

It is a long, rewarding day of singing in 2-to-3-part harmony, mastering sight-reading, and learning time management. To make this 6-hour day successful, support is needed.

This crowdfunding project will fund:
• 🍎 Snacks and fuel for the long rehearsal day.
• 🎫 Participation fees for students facing financial barriers.
• 🎼 Professional clinicians to guide these students now and in the future.

The goal is to raise $1,000, and $275 has already been funded. Help support equitable access to fine arts opportunities in Springfield! 🧡 The project is open until February 15, 2026.
