Every day our SPS teachers pour their hearts into creating classrooms buzzing with innovation and care, making sure every child has the chance to shine. Back-to-School Grant applications for the 2025-26 school year have arrived and they’re brimming with innovative ideas for everything from exciting classroom projects and boosting literacy, to supporting student well-being.
In 2024, our Back-to-School Grant partners raised more than $260,000 to support 100+ vital initiatives submitted by SPS educators. Grants included innovative classroom projects, literacy programs, and efforts to support student attendance, mental health, and behavior. Additionally, the funds facilitated real-world learning opportunities, community engagement, and enhanced overall student experiences.
