⏰ The Countdown is ON! Help us paint the town RED by Feb. 1st!

We have a bold goal, Springfield: We want EVERY SPS school “claimed” on our map by February 1st! 🗓️❤️

There are still white hearts waiting to be turned red. Is your neighborhood school or alma mater one of them?

Here is how it works: A $1,000 gift (from a business or a group of neighbors!) claims a school entirely. But here represents the best part—"claiming" a school is a symbol of your love that spreads across the entire district. 🌊

While you get to honor a specific school on our map, your donation goes into the Foundation’s general fund to power district-wide programs that change lives, including: 🎒 Back-to-School Grants that help teachers innovate in the classroom. 🚌 Pay to Ride Waivers (88 students helped this year!). 🧥 Coats for Kids (keeping nearly 500 students warm). 🎓 Scholarships for graduating seniors.

Let’s ensure no school is left white on the map. Claim yours today and fuel the programs that support all our students and educators!

🦁🦓 Help Bring Science to Life for Sherwood Kindergarteners! 🐘🦒

Support is needed for a fantastic "Animal Showcase" project at Sherwood Elementary! Students are diving deep into research—learning about habitats, diets, and biology—to create posters and present their findings to parents and staff. 📚✍️

To cap off this unit, the goal is to take all 54 students on a field trip to the Zoo! This real-world experience is essential for their science standards and brings their research to life. 🚌💨

Sherwood is a Title 1 school, and it is critical to secure funding to cover costs so 100% of students can attend, regardless of family finances.

Current Status: 💰 Goal: $600 ✅ Raised: $300 (Halfway there!) 📉 Still Needed: $300 📅 Deadline: April 15, 2026

Help these young researchers get to the zoo! Every dollar helps close the gap.

Good Food, Great Company, & The Future of Student Well-being 🥗🧠

Supporting the "whole child" has never been more important. Join us for our upcoming Lunch & Learn as we explore the current landscape of student mental health and how we are preparing the future workforce.

We are thrilled to host Dr. Alison Roffers, Director of SPS Counseling Services, and a special guest panel for a conversation on how SPS is leading the way in Missouri.

📝 What We’ll Discuss: The panel will dive into key strategies for supporting student well-being, including the vital connection between physical education and mental resilience. Come learn how active bodies help build stronger, more focused minds.

FSPS’s Lunch & Learn series is made possible by our generous donor, Peter Lai with Edward Jones. We are grateful for his continued commitment to education and our community.

💡 Bring a Friend! Do you know a colleague, parent, or community leader passionate about the future of our students? Invite them to the table! This is the perfect opportunity to network and share ideas.

🗓️ Date: Tuesday, Feb. 10
🕛 Time: Noon – 1:00 PM
📍 Location: Professional & Virtual Learning Center (1410 S. Kansas Expy.)
🎟️ Tickets: $15 (Lunch included!)

🦅 Keep the Falcons Moving! 🦅

Support the Glendale High School Falcon Regiment and help them save their energy for what matters most—the music! 🎶🥁

The band is raising funds to purchase an ATV to haul heavy percussion equipment and props. This vital addition will speed up setup times at competitions and save students from the physical exhaustion of pushing and pulling heavy gear across fields.

🌟 DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT! 🌟 Thanks to a generous donor, contributions will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $2,000!

Help the Falcons reach their $7,000 goal by May 5th. Let’s drive this effort forward and keep the music playing strong!
