As Rhett Roberson steps into his new role as Board President, we want to share the story behind his passion for supporting Springfield Public Schools.

A longtime board member and proud Parkview High School graduate, Rhett’s roots in our district run deep. His journey with the Foundation was first inspired by a personal mission: honoring his late brother, Devon, by creating a scholarship for a Parkview choir student. This experience continues to fuel his commitment to supporting every student and teacher in our community.

Ready to become a champion for Springfield Public Schools? We are now accepting applications for Class 5 of the SPS Ambassadors program!

This is your exclusive opportunity to go behind the scenes of Missouri’s largest school district. As an SPS Ambassador, you will: ✅ Gain a deep understanding of SPS programs and services. ✅ Meet and interact with key district leaders. ✅ Tour innovative schools and see learning in action. ✅ Connect with a network of community members passionate about public education.

Our goal is to empower you to be an effective and informed advocate for our students, our employees, and our schools. This collaborative program is perfect for anyone who believes in the power of public education and wants to make a real difference.

🗓️ 2025-2026 Meeting Schedule: (All sessions are 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
