Disney Elementary Principal Lynne Miller will be retiring this year after 36 years with SPS. When asked what her favorite memory is she said, “There is no possible way I could name just one in that many years. I can tell you that the people I worked with, and especially the kids, were a daily highlight. I will miss the people for sure, and the drive to achieve at the very best level possible. But, I will also miss that simple act of walking down the hall with a child hand in hand—the ultimate sign that they trust you.”
Lynne wants others in SPS to know, “No matter what you do for SPS, your part is essential for success! And remember, many times you are the best part of a kids day-and ALL kids need you!”
