Laura Wood is a 7th grade math teacher at Westport and will be retiring from Springfield Public Schools this year. One thing that she will miss the most during retirement is the people in SPS. “I had a great group to work with and thoroughly enjoyed the support and comradery.” She encourages educators to focus on the successes and stay positive. “Find something positive every day and focus on the little successes.”
