This grant is for English Language Development Student Experiences for students at Glendale High School. This ELD class consists of students that are often newcomers to the United States. The grant will support the students in receiving three unique cultural experiences that are unique to Southwest Missouri.
- Planned Use for Funds: This grant is for English Language Development Student Experiences for students at Glendale High School. This ELD class consists of students that are multilingual. Students are often newcomers to the United States. The grant will support the students in receiving three cultural experiences that are unique to Southwest Missouri. The experiences consist of an experience to Wonders of Wildlife and Silver Dollar City. Students will encounter habitats and animals from around the world. At Silver Dollar City, students will experience the educational elements through fun rides, shows and attractions. It's a living history lesson, an education in earth science, the thrill of applied physics, the drama of performance, and an opportunity to meet the masters of American Craftsmanship.
