Supporting our Back to SPS campaign means ensuring EVERY student has the resources they need to thrive.

It’s more than a field trip. It’s a chance to connect, grow, and belong. 🚌💨 💖 Last year, a Back-to-School Grant funded by the Explore the Ozarks Fund made a world of difference for students with disabilities in the BASE Fairbanks Special Education Program. 🏫

This grant funded community outings, providing real-world learning experiences that many students would otherwise miss due to financial hardship. These weren’t just field trips; they were opportunities to practice essential life skills like budgeting, social interaction, and safety. 🚌 🛍️

As Special Education Teacher Jan Foyewa shared, "I can’t even begin to tell you how much it meant…Because of this grant, they had opportunities…they wouldn’t have been able to otherwise." 🙏

As an SPS parent, Anne has seen firsthand the "incredible educators we are privileged to have in our district." After 5 years in the PTA, she joined the Foundation for SPS board to help support those educators and their students across the district.
