Lieutenant James “Greg” Hall started with the district in July 1988, where he worked throughout the district. At that time, the Springfield School Police Department consisted of one director, one secretary/dispatcher, and the six previous officers. In 1992 LT Hall, then Officer Hall, left the school district to become the Supervisor of Safety and Security at OTC. Hall assisted with the development of OTC’s department. In 1996, LT Hall returned to the Springfield School Police Department, where he was promoted to Field Supervisor with 18 officers. In 2007 LT Hall was moved to supervise the south side officers and a north side field supervisor was added, due to department growth. LT Hall will retire with 29 years of dedicated service to R12 public schools. His knowledge and experience will be missed.
