Each year, individuals, businesses and organizations that give financial and volunteer support to the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools (FSPS) are recognized with two distinguished awards, the Corporate Partner of the Year and the Advocate for Education. This year the Foundation recognizes Central Bank of the Ozarks and John Dickey for these honors.

The Corporate Partner of the year is an organization that has provided significant financial support to the FSPS, Springfield Public Schools and have made a time commitment of significant impact. Central Bank of the Ozarks has been a supporter of the FSPS since our inception, supporter of the Healthy Places to Play initiative and strong partner in education with the district.

The Advocate for Education is an individual who exemplifies giving mentality by demonstrating a commitment to educational excellence in Springfield Public Schools and the community at large. John Dickey is a graduate from Central High School, class of 2013 inductee to Springfield Public Schools Hall of Fame and started an endowed scholarship with the FSPS to provide an opportunity to graduating seniors from Central to continue their education.

“Since we cannot be together to celebrate our donors, we want to be sure to recognize our supporters made up of the most exceptional individuals in the Springfield community,” said Natalie Murdock, director of the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools. “This year has changed many things, but our gratitude for our donors and committed volunteers is unchanging.”
