The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools will participate in the world-wide Giving Tuesday event this year on December 2nd. Giving Tuesday is a one-day campaign designed to encourage community members to give back to charities throughout their own communities and beyond. The Foundation for SPS will use this year’s event to raise funds for the Springfield Public Schools emergency preparedness initiative which will provide safety tubes, kits, supplies and additional training for every classroom in the district.
