- Description:
At Jarrett Middle School, we have two intensive support classrooms, in which the students get gym time and/or outside time daily for social interaction/getting their energy out. The money from our project would go towards funding more Gym/Outside equipment for our students to have a variety of items to play/interact with during these times.
- Need Represented: This grant will support various students with disabilities day to day to give them different options when it comes to outside/gym time.
- Academic Impact: By allowing our students the time to move and get energy out, they will be able to focus and do better on academics.
- Student Population: This project will reach students, with various disabilities, who are in an intensive support classroom.
