“Every year the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools gets many applications for grants that don’t get funded due to the number of applicants. This year we heard of a grant from a music teacher at Sherwood Elementary meant to provide 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students with access to music. Specifically, drums, bass, and guitar! As you can imagine, this one really resonates with us and we thought, “Let’s take one off of the Foundation’s plate so more stuff gets funded!”
What we know about the folks who come out to see us is that they are happy to support the community. Our goal is $1500 and whatever we raise beyond that will be donated to the Foundation to cover other grants that may not have been funded this year. Please come join us for a night of fun together for a good cause.
