Thanks to a Back-to-School grant made possible by our generous donors, Pipkin Middle School recently transformed into a hub of global exploration during its World Family Night. The event provided a heartwarming adventure, fostering understanding among students and families.
Middle school is a key time for young minds to develop empathy and broaden horizons. Exposing students to diverse cultures during these years encourages greater acceptance, academic success, and a stronger community spirit.
World Family Night brought the world to Pipkin with engaging cultural exhibits, diverse food stations, and hands-on activities. Students and families learned and laughed together. Notably, Pipkin’s IB Ambassadors stepped up to teach their peers, sharing their passion for different cultures and enriching everyone involved.
Experiences like World Family Night plant seeds for the future, sparking curiosity and encouraging students to become thoughtful, compassionate global citizens. The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools is deeply committed to supporting programs that nurture student growth and believe in the power of cultural exchange to create a more connected community.
