JJ Memorial Scholarship for Staff

The JJ Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of Jaskamal Johal, a 2010 graduate of Glendale High School.

She is remembered for her positive influence on others. JJ was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at 11 and passed away at the age of 20.

Deadline to apply is March 11, 2026

One-time Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Requirements:

Applicant must be a Springfield Public Schools teacher or paraprofessional, employed for the upcoming year.
Applicant must be accepted to a university or college.
Applicant must be seeking a degree, or advanced degree in the field of special education.
