The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools provide support to district-level needs and initiatives each year to support wide-ranging academic needs.  Support for the SPS attendance campaign and the Read to Succeed campaign are among some of the initiatives supported through this grant cycle in recent years.

 

Eligibility:

  1. Request for District-Wide support should come from members of the SPS Leadership Team or Executive Leadership Team. (building principals are not eligible for District-Wide grants, see Impact grants).
  2. Request must support district-wide needs and initiatives.

Applications Open: April 15, 2026

Deadline: June 30, 2026

Criteria:

  1. Your request should kick-start or support early stages of a district program or initiative that supports the academic success of students, beyond the daily operational needs of the district.  (examples of support could include, but are not limited to: curriculum, educational enrichment, mental health, arts, extra-curricular activities, etc.)
  2. Your request should support district priorities and objectives laid out in the SPS strategic plan.
