JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) students will plan a trip to the nation’s capital in order to experience democracy at work. Students will be responsible for scheduling flights, hotels, as well as an itinerary for the entire class. Students will coordinate with JAG programs from Aurora, Purdy, Camdenton and Marshfield.
Senior JAG students will be eligible for the trip based on attendance, community service, grades, and a 500 word essay detailing what the trip would mean to them.
Students will tour the Holocaust Museum, Capital, Arlington National Cemetery, Pentagon, and Smithsonian Museums to gain a personal perspective on historical and current events. - Need Represented: Students from JAG have barriers which make it more difficult to succeed as adults. JAG helps break down those barriers by introducing students to opportunities and experiences that they would otherwise not be able to participate in.

They are dedicated to improving themselves and their community. This educational tour would provide them the experience to witness historical monuments, current events, and lawmakers and military personnel at work.
