We have a thriving group of dancers who are looking forward to breathing life into the Vikettes program. Our closet is outdated and needs uniforms and poms. Because we don’t receive funding from the school, we are looking for partners who love the Vikettes and want to see them thrive- and look good while doing it!
- Need Represented: The Vikettes have a long-standing tradition here at Parkview High School (1972). As our community has evolved, so has the needs of our students. Most of the girls on the team qualify for free/reduced lunch and are unable to make payments on the participation fee. Without those fees, we can't afford updates to our basic necessities: uniforms and poms.
- Academic Impact: Being a part of the team is an incentive for each girl to consistently attend school, as well as have someone holding them accountable to earning good grades.
- Student Population: The team is currently comprised of 10 girls who are in 9th through 11th grades.
