Our special education department has a party at the end of the year for special education students who are at school, work hard, and behave appropriately. If they can achieve this during 4th quarter, we have a big, outdoor celebration for them. We provide lunch, inflatables, and a cake to honor our 8th graders who will be leaving us to go to high school the next school year.
- Need Represented: To reward special education students for their hard work, attendance, and good behavior.
- Academic Impact: The students who qualify for the celebration are rewarded for their good grades, behavior, and attendance during 4th quarter. The celebration is an incentive to encourage them to work hard and finish out the school year strong.
- Student Population: Students that can earn the celebration have met criteria to qualify for special education.
