- Description:
The All-in Camp Crew at McBride Elementary believes that students with disabilities should have the opportunity to participate in camp activities, regardless of their disabilities. Camp Barnabas provides this opportunity for students ages 7 and older. At McBride, it is our goal to send students with disabilities to an inclusive camp that provides enriching activities. This project would fund the tuition, and any needed supplies to attend for the selected student or students.
- Need Represented: Camp provides life experiences for students with disabilities that they would not experience anywhere else.
- Academic Impact: This project would give real life experiences to those students with the most severe disabilities the opportunity to build relationships, provide new language skills experiences, and social emotional skills.
