- Need Represented: Teachers can support group work, problem-solving activities, and project-based learning using a picnic table. Round picnic tables provide a common area for open communication, active engagement, and the development of interpersonal skills.
- Academic Impact: Within the school, the picnic tables can serve as spot for social and cultural activities. Teaching professionals have the ability to establish outdoor learning environments, inspire teamwork, lead collaborative projects, introduce students to the natural world, support cultural and communal events, and encourage wellness and health-related activities.
