- Description:
The Hogwarts Experience is an after school club that combines the aspects of book club, art club and a small sports team all themed around aspects of the world of Harry Potter. As we read the Harry Potter books we will do activities inspired by events of the book. Towards the end of the school year we will have a Quidditch championship match.
- Need Represented: This would be a reward for the students that stick with the club for the entirety of the year and show PRIDE behavior to qualify to participate every week.
- Academic Impact: This will excite and reward the students for the good behavior. It will encourage their critical thinking when they read especially they get a character to actually answer their questions.
- Student Population: Holland consists of 270 students 15 of which are members of the deaf community. Approximately 40% qualify and use the free/reduced lunch program.
