- Academic Impact: Nutrition plays a big factor in the success of students. When they do not have the resources for even a traditional meal, the mental capabilities for learning are diminished.
- Student Population: The student population of Hillcrest leans toward low income. Over half the population of the student body is on free/reduced meals.
