Our Kindergarten team would like to provide 3 books per student in our grade! We would like to provide each student in Kindergarten with a book on their Birthday, a book for the Holidays, and a book at the end of the school year. Reading is incredibly important for kids of all ages, but fostering a love for learning at an early age is vital for student success!
- Need Represented: This project will provide books for students to help facilitate a love for learning through reading.
- Academic Impact: This project will impact our students by providing 3 books at various times of the year. This project will help students form a love of reading from a young age. Students will be provided a special birthday book on (or around) their birthday which will help them feel special!
- Student Population: This project will provide books for around 80 Kindergarten students. While Gray is mostly consisted of middle class students, we have several students who come from low income households that we feel will greatly be impacted in a positive way through this project.
