The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools (FSPS) awards an additional $35,357 to Springfield Public Schools in Back to School Grants.  The winter grant deliveries were made possible by the support of the Stanley and Elaine Ball Foundation with Central Trust Company, Jeannette L. Musgrave Foundation with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, and Paragon Architecture.

Seventeen grants were delivered to 14 SPS sites. “Having the opportunity to award a second round of Back to School grants in Decembers has been so exciting!” said Executive Director Natalie Murdock. “Our teachers and staff have been overjoyed at the generosity of our donors to make these experiences possible. I am so incredibly grateful.”

The second round of deliveries brings our total for Back to School Grants to $230,957 during the 2021-2022 school year.  “The FSPS vision is to promote educational excellence for every child by working with the public school system and the community. Our Back to School Grant Program is the perfect example of this collaboration,” said Murdock.

The FSPS Back to School Grant Program is still accepting donations to fund more grants throughout the year. For more information about the Back to School Grant Program and the Foundation for SPS, visit the website.
