Empower Academic Excellence with Grant SPS
Every year, Springfield Public Schools teachers come up with creative ways to help our students learn and grow. These new ideas create opportunities for true academic excellence, but they often cost more than the standard school budget allows.
That is where the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools steps in. Each fall, we provide the funding for these exciting learning projects through three types of grants:

Back-to-School Grants: Funding for creative projects led by teachers in their own classrooms.

Impact Grants: Funding for principal-led programs that improve an entire school.

District Grants: Funding for large-scale projects that benefit students across the whole district.
The Need: Closing the Funding Gap
Last year, we proudly awarded $300,000 in grants. However, our educators requested over $650,000 in funding. Because of this gap, more than half of their wonderful ideas for our students were left unfunded.
The Solution: Join the Campaign
We are launching the Grant SPS campaign to help close this gap. Our goal is to raise $300,000 or more so we can say “yes” to as many of these important projects as possible.
